Footbridge Beach is generally quieter than the main (Ogunquit) beach with access on Ocean Street, 1 mile north of town center, but still busy on a hot summer day. Public restrooms are available there, and the trolley drops riders off there as well. Footbridge Beach is named for the fact that you walk across the Ogunquit River to the beach on a foot bridge. It is a very pleasant and beautiful scene here in the summer, and a nice sandy beach.
